My stay at this hotel was truly delightful. The attention to detail was commendable, from the beautifully arranged rooms to the warm and welcoming staff. The location in the center of Medina was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the vibrant city. I was particularly impressed with the breakfast, which provided a delicious start to each day.

During my recent stay at Astra Damus, I had the pleasure of being guided through the local souks by the friendly and helpful host, Simon. He showed me his favorite shops and cafes, making my exploration of Marrakech even more nice. The rooms in the riad were beautifully decorated and clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of adventure. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop terrace with a perfect balance of sun and shade, along with a refreshing rooftop pool. Breakfast each morning was delicious and varied, providing a wide range of options to satisfy my appetite. Throughout my stay, Astrid, the owner, was always available to answer any questions or provide advice via WhatsApp. I highly recommend Astra Damus for a good stay in Marrakech.
There were a few minor drawbacks, such as the initial mix-up with the beds not being made into twin preference, but this was quickly resolved. the view from the terrace was not as excellent as expected and there was a slight sewage smell coming from a neighboring house.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location, as mentioned in the reviews. It is quite close to all the main attractions and near the center of the city. Guests have mentioned that it is close to everything, making it a great choice for exploring the city. The rooms are also spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning and good temperature control. the rooftop terrace provides a nice spot to relax and enjoy the view.
Some guests have mentioned that communication with the staff was sometimes difficult.
